- 1-1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups Bloody Mary mix, or Tomato Juice
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion diced
- 4 stalks celery thinly sliced
- Diced Green Pepper or diced jalapeno
- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon hot sauce
Brown meat and drain fat. Saute onions and celery in olive oil until tender and then add it to the meat. Cook an additional 5 minutes over medium to low heat. Add all other ingredients and simmer 30 minutes or until thick.
Spoon over hamburger buns.
Serve with pickles or pico de gaillo
