Ingredients
• 6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
• 1 smoked kielbasa sausages, sliced
• 1 small onion, diced
• 2-4 carrots, sliced
• 2-4 cloves garlic diced.
• 2 stalks celery, sliced.
• 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
• 1 cup sour cream
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 tsp marjoram
• ½ teaspoon Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb
• ½ teaspoon Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy (optional)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook the Sausage: In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add kielbasa slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
2. Sauté Vegetables: Add onion, carrots, and celery to the pot, cooking for 5-7 minutes until softened.
3. Stir in Garlic and Spices: into the onion mixture and cook an additional minute.
4. Add Potatoes and Broth: Stir in potatoes, broth, marjoram, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
5. Add Sour Cream: Stir in sour cream and return the kielbasa to the pot. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
6. Serve: Garnish with fresh dill and serve warm with rye bread.
